First symphony that I composed- Allegro in C major

I needed a change and I've been listening extensively to Mozart, Bach , Vivaldi and sort. I was hugely inspired by the eternal magic in their symphonies. I just opened a new Protools session and started writing the score for a symphony. Here is a 3 minute glimpse of it for u to hear.

Dhanumaasa pularipenninu...

This is one of the compositions I did for "Harmonics", a musical album released as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Govt. Engg. College, Trissur. I can't remember of a time in my whole life better than the time that I had during the recordings of harmonics. This song is so special for me as it's a reminiscence of my own childhood days. The song captures the feelings and emotions of a calebration happening in a temple and I used to be a part of it when I was a kid. Lyrics were written by Roshan, one of my plus 2 chums. I think I have given him a pretty hard time while writing the lyrics as I have this weird habit of asking for better stuffs even when I'm given the best. But, I think that kinda helped as he eventually came out with an exceptional song - rather an excellet poetry. The song was recorded without much preparations and the whole thing was finished in 3 hours! So, it didn't really come out as excpected. I used three voices for the song, Nitish, Ramu and vipin, the proud talents of GEC. And about the orchestration, I had no option other than FLStudio.

Special thanks to - Sajiyetan @ Chetana studios and all those who worked behind Harmonics.
Recorded and mixed @ Chetana studios, Trichur.

This is how the song goes...

Once upon a time in my heart...

Well, here's a piano instrumental that I composed after my college days had just got over. I was at home trying to befriend the inescapable loneliness I was feeling inside from the day I left my hostel, which had become my home to say the least. "Once upon a time in my heart" is not yet complete to be frank. I had to leave to Cochin in search of a job, while the track was only half finished. Here's what it is so far...
